Rheumatoid arthritis

Unlike osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis is considered to be an autoimmune disorder.

That is, the body’s immune system is primarily responsible for the condition in that it attacks the joints.

Though rheumatoid arthritis is less common than osteoarthritis, it is quite painful and can even be more debilitating.

This is because of the fact that as the condition progresses, deformity can occur, further restricting mobility.
