Treatment of arthritis

Treatments for arthritis may vary, especially depending on the type of arthritis that is present.

In general, however, treatment regimens for arthritis patients include physical and occupational therapy in order to improve joint movement.

In some cases, a lifestyle change may be necessary in order to preclude the progression of the disease.

Medication may also be used, especially if the arthritis is being caused by another disease, which may be bacterial in nature. More so, pain relievers are also employed.
